  Purpose: The purpose of this study is to analyse the economic conditions of health resort treatment in Poland, with particular emphasis on the structure and dynamics of financing sources. The article aims to identify key trends in public and private funding of spa treatment services and to assess the role of institutional financing in the context of demographic, economic, and systemic changes. Design/Methodology/Approach: The study is based on an analysis of secondary data derived from statistical reports of the Central Statistical Office of Poland (GUS) for the years 2023–2025 and financial reports of the National Health Fund (NFZ) for the years 2022–2024.   Socialisation with humans and willingness to interact with them are essential traits for animals involved in animal-assisted services (AAS). This study examined whether goats without prior intensive socialisation with humans may show predispositions to AAS in terms of sociability towards people. Ten goats underwent four tests: (1) acceptance of human approach and touch, voluntary approach to (2) a passive and (3) an active human, and (4) a novel sound fear test. Tests 1–3 were conducted with the caretaker and a familiar neutral person, and 4 with the neutral person. The goats generally accepted being approached and touched but showed little interest in interacting voluntarily with humans.   In many regions of the world, urban areas are experiencing intensive development of pedestrian and cycling infrastructure. These changes have brought numerous transport, environmental, and economic benefits. However, detailed analyses and data are lacking regarding some negative aspects of using urban paths, such as noise exposure due to some technical solutions in road traffic. This study assessed the acoustic conditions along a shared pedestrian and bicycle path in a city (proximity to a road with heavy traffic). Sound levels were measured over 2 years. Basic statistical tools, including non-parametric tests, were used to assess the variability of sound levels and to compare various datasets.   Wetlands characterized by the presence of rare and endangered reed plant communities are seriously threatened by hydrological changes and pollution caused by human activity, e.g., drainage, river regulation, and conversion to agricultural land.   The research hypothesis of this study assumes that nitrogen (N) from digestate has an equivalent productive effect as mineral fertilizer. Therefore, the use of digestate as a N carrier by farmers significantly reduces the energy costs of oilseed rape production. This hypothesis was verified in field experiments with rapeseed conducted in the 2015/2016, 2016/2017, and 2017/2018 growing seasons. The experiment consisted of three N fertilization systems (FSs)—mineral ammonium nitrate (AN) (AN-FS), digestate-based (D-FS), and 2/3 digestate + 1/3 AN (DAN-FS)—and five Nf doses: 0, 80, 120, 160, and 240 kg N ha−1. Maximum seed yields were 3.26, 3.32 and 3.66 t ha−1 and were obtained for optimal N doses of 170, 186 and 189 kgNn ha−1, respectively.
