The phenotype correlations between some attributes of milk efficiency were evaluated in 806 goats kept in three breeding regions in Poland, i.e. Lubelszczyzna, Podkarpacie and Wielkopolska. There were shown high positive correlations between the content of fat and dry mass (r=0.94xx) and protein concentration (r=0.50xx) as well as protein content and dry mass concentration (r=0.68xx) and casein (r=0.73xx). It was found that high negative correlation coefficients appear between fat content and protein-fat ratio (r=-0.84xx). A negative dependence was indicated between somatic cells count and milk lactose content (r=-0,18xx). In the goats characterized by “ strong” αs1-casein genes, nearly twice as high correlation coefficients were noted between the content of urea and protein and casein content (r=0.40xx) and (r=0.31xx) compared to the animals with “medium” variants (r=0.22xx).
