Streszczenia
The paper discusses a potential tool for the management of waste from wine production using 7 types of washers. Climbers of the examined cultivar grew on 6 types of rootstocks: 5 BB, 101–14, 125 AA, 161–49, SO4, SORI, the control was ungrafted vines growing on their own roots. The research was carried out on grapevines of the Regent variety in order to demonstrate the effect of the rootstock on the yielding capacity in relation to obtaining biomass waste in the form of leaves. An attempt was made to identify rootstocks that are characterized by obtaining the most effective and average parameters, qualitative and quantitative parameters of leaf mass and surface, and their impact on energy and fuel parameters. In this work, the cultivation and quality parameters of the leaves were analyzed. The energy assessment was carried out by performing a closer and final analysis and estimating the emission factors and volumetric composition of flue gases. The composition of ash as a potential fertilizer was assessed using the EDX method. Studies have shown that cultivation on the 125AA rootstock is characterized by obtaining, for the Regent variety, significantly the highest yield, leaf area and bio-waste usefulness for energy purposes. Biomass from shrubs on their own roots had significantly the highest heat of combustion (HHV of 16.79 MJ·kg−1) and calorific value (LHV of 15.24 MJ·kg−1), while significantly the lowest values were shown for the 5BB rootstock HHV was (15.61 MJ·kg−1) and LHV (13.97 MJ·kg−1). The ash content of the analysed plant material was the opposite of the energy parameters. Studies have shown that the most effective in practical cultivation is the use of SORI and SO4 rootstocks, which are characterized by average parameters of yield, growth and fuel.
